BREEZE - Northumberland & Northeast

The Breeze, a fishing vessel that met its end close to shore, rests in a mere two metres of water, making it an ideal spot for those keen on a shallow wreck dive or even a snorkel. It’s definitely a different kind of dive experience up in Northumberland. We’ve found her to be quite broken up, but you can still make out the general shape of the hull and some of the superstructure elements. What really brings this site to life are the critters that have moved in: we often see wrasse darting between the plates and anemones clinging to every surface. It’s a gentle introduction to wreck diving, particularly good for newer divers or those looking for a relaxed bimble with plenty of light.
