The Chasms - Northumberland & Northeast

The Chasms, off the Northumberland coast, is exactly what it sounds like: a series of narrow swim-throughs and small caves carved into the rock. It's an atmospheric dive, with shafts of light penetrating the gloom and often good visibility. We've seen conger eels lurking in the cracks and plenty of crabs scuttling about. It's a fun spot for experienced divers comfortable in overhead environments, but keep an eye on the surge.
