Why dive here
Rabbit Island is a dive where divers can encounter blue sharks, sea turtles and sperm whales. Water ranges 25-28°C, warmest August, September, October.
Rabbit Island, off Oahu’s coast, gives you some decent wall diving and lava tubes to explore. We’ve found a good chance of spotting green sea turtles and the occasional reef shark cruising by. It’s a solid pick for divers comfortable with drift dives, as currents can pick up. Definitely suits those looking for classic Hawaiian volcanic topography.
