Old House Reef Makadi Bay - Hurghada
Old House Reef at Makadi Bay is a nice, relaxed spot, especially for those just getting their fins wet in the Red Sea. It’s a shallow site, topping out at 17 meters, which means plenty of bottom time to drift around and get comfortable. We often see blue-spotted rays resting on the sandy patches, and there are always plenty of butterflyfish and parrotfish munching on the corals. It’s a good place to refine buoyancy or just enjoy a chill dive without worrying about strong currents or complex navigation.
