Scuba World Divers - Mövenpick Soma Bay - Safaga
The team at Scuba World Divers, right on the beach at the Mövenpick Soma Bay, are exactly what we look for in a Red Sea operation. They’re super relaxed, but run a tight ship when it comes to the diving. We’ve found they really excel at getting divers comfortable and confident, whether you’re taking your first fin kicks or pushing your skills with a specialty course. We love that the house reef is right there, a really convenient spot for check dives or just a quick afternoon splash. You'll often see turtles munching on seagrass and schools of bannerfish fluttering over the soft corals. But what really sets them apart is their access to the Safaga sites. We've had some incredible drift dives around Panorama Reef with them, watching grey reef sharks cruise by in the blue, and the healthy corals at Abu Kafan are always a treat – the schools of fusiliers are so thick they sometimes block out the sun. Their boats are comfortable, the crews helpful, and after a couple of dives, you’ll feel like part of the family. If you're looking for that classic Red Sea experience, with a solid, friendly crew, Scuba World Divers is a top pick.
