Marsa Bareika - Sharm el-Sheikh

Marsa Bareika offers a gentle introduction to the Ras Mohammed National Park, making it a good choice for divers looking for a relaxed experience. We usually drop in early to catch the best of the light. The sandy bottom slopes gradually, dotted with coral heads that are home to Spotted Grouper and the occasional foraging Tail-spot Sweeper. Look closely around the anemones for Clown Surgeonfish. We often find ourselves just drifting along the reef edge, keeping an eye out for Duncker's pipefish in the seagrass patches, a real treat if you spot one. It’s a site that rewards a slow pace and a keen eye.
