Why dive here
Ras Bob Reef is a reef dive where divers can encounter dolphins, spinner dolphins and whale sharks. Water ranges 23-30°C, warmest July, August, September.
Ras Bob Reef offers a straightforward dive, often a nice second stop if you’re out for the day from Sharm. It’s a good spot to just settle in and watch for a while. We’ve seen small pods of bottlenose dolphins here, particularly in the mornings, sometimes curious enough for a quick pass. Keep an eye out for cowfish tucked into the reef structure. It’s a gentle introduction to Red Sea diving for newer divers, or a relaxed drift for those looking to unwind.
