Ras Ghamila Reef - Sharm el-Sheikh

Ras Ghamila often gets overlooked for some of Sharm's more famous sites, but we always find something interesting here. It's a nice drift, typically, with a gentle slope that holds a surprising amount of fish action, especially if you take your time. Look closely in the rubble areas for Banded Blennies and the tiny Blackline Fangblenny. We’ve even had a few playful encounters with bottlenose dolphins here, which really makes the dive. It’s a good choice for a relaxed afternoon dive, maybe as a second or third dip of the day, when you want to enjoy the reef without too much effort.
