Ras Ghozlani - Sharm el-Sheikh

Ras Ghozlani sits a little north of Shark Reef and Yolanda, a quieter spot we often hit as a third dive of the day or when the bigger sites are busy. The reef here is a nice wall dive, dropping away gently, good for just drifting along and seeing what pops out. We’ve had some cracking encounters with Yellowtail Surgeonfish zipping around, and a few times spotted bottlenose dolphins cruising by in the blue, though they don't always stick around for photos. Look closer in the cracks, and you might find a cloth-of-gold cone snail or a Duncker's pipefish tucked away. It's a relaxed dive, good for beginners looking for some nice reef fish without strong currents to worry about, though we've seen some trickier drifts here on occasion.
