Woodhouse Reef - Sharm el-Sheikh

Woodhouse Reef, one of the famous Tiran Islands, always offers a good drift. We usually drop in at the northern tip, letting the current carry us south along its lengthy spine. The reef wall drops away dramatically, riddled with crevices and overhangs where you'll often spot grey dolphins cruising by, sometimes even a pod of Indian Ocean bottlenose dolphins. Keep an eye out for humpbacked conchs on the sandy patches, and if you’re lucky, a passing whale shark might just make your day. It’s definitely a dive best suited for those comfortable with strong currents and a good surface signal.
