Deep Dive Dubai - Dubai & Abu Dhabi
The team at Deep Dive Dubai are doing something genuinely unique, taking the concept of an inland dive centre and turning it on its head. This isn't just a big pool; it’s a meticulously designed underwater city, complete with apartments, a garage, and even a sunken car. We love that it’s kept at a balmy 30 degrees Celsius, so you never get that shocking cold entry, and the visibility is always perfect, unlike the sometimes murky conditions you find in the sea here. Our favourite spot has to be the game room with the working arcade machines – a surreal experience to play Pac-Man ten metres down. It’s perfect for getting back in the water after a break, testing new gear, or for those PADI courses, where the consistent conditions make learning much easier. For photographers, it's a dream for experimenting with lighting and composition without any current or surge. If you’re in Dubai and craving some time underwater, but perhaps the boat trip out to the coast isn't appealing, this place offers a surprisingly engaging alternative.
