Dive Tribe Dubai - Dubai & Abu Dhabi
The team at Dive Tribe Dubai are the real deal, perfect for anyone looking to go from zero to divemaster, or even instructor, with a centre that genuinely cares about getting it right. They’re a PADI 5 Star IDC Resort, which means serious business when it comes to training. We’ve always found their instructors have a knack for making even the trickiest skills click, whether you’re struggling with mask clearing in a pool or trying to master buoyancy in the slightly murkier waters off Fujairah. What we really love about Dive Tribe is their focus on the complete journey, not just the certification card. They run regular trips to local spots, and while Dubai diving isn't always about pristine reefs, there are some surprisingly good wrecks and reef patches if you know where to look. We'd suggest asking them about a morning trip out to Zainab, a fantastic wreck that often has barracuda circling and the odd reef shark cruising past. Visibility can be hit or miss, but on a good day, it’s a brilliant dive, and the Dive Tribe crew are pros at making sure everyone gets the most out of it, whatever the conditions. If you're based in the UAE and want to properly immerse yourself in diving, they’re definitely our pick.
