Rosalía Barcaza 1180 - Mar del Plata

The Rosalía Barcaza 1180 is a shallow dive, barely dipping below the surface in Mar del Plata, but don't let the depth fool you. This old barge, sitting at a maximum of two metres, is fantastic for a relaxed poke-around. We found it’s become a nursery for juvenile fish, and those big, shaggy anemones love the protection of its metal hull. The water around here can be a bit frisky, especially after a storm, so we’d suggest picking a calmer day to really appreciate the details of the wreck and the critters making it home. It’s a nice alternative if you’re looking for a quick, interesting dip without the need for deep planning.
