Swift - Mar del Plata

The Swift wreck, sitting in Mar del Plata’s shallow waters, is a solid little dive for when you're in the area. It’s right there, a quick trip out, and it makes for an easy 4m dive. We’ve found the stern section is the most intact part, still recognisable as a ship, with plates and beams forming cozy overhangs. Look closely and you’ll spot a surprising amount of life hunkering down: small crabs picking their way across the metal, schools of silversides darting in and out, and sometimes a grumpy scorpionfish camouflaged on a barnacled surface. It’s not a deep, dramatic wreck, but for new divers or those looking for a relaxed exploration, the Swift hits the spot.
