With 517+ marine species recorded in the area - including barracuda, blue sharks, dolphins, eagle rays and hammerhead sharks - Imelda offers some of Santa Marta & Tayrona's richest diving. Water ranges 28-30°C, warmest June, July, September.
Imelda offers a relaxed dive, good for shaking off the rust or for newer divers finding their fins. You’ll drift over a gentle slope, mostly sand with scattered rocky patches, where we often spot stingrays tucked into the bottom and schools of grunts hanging out near the small coral bommies. Visibility here can vary, but even on an average day, it’s a pleasant way to spend an hour underwater.
