Diving the Plaza Islets usually means a gentle drift, perfect for easing into the Galápagos experience. We often drop in around 15 metres, gliding past a sandy bottom that’s home to a bustling eel garden – keep an eye out for their heads swaying in unison. It’s a great spot for seeing green turtles munching on algae, and we’ve regularly encountered white-tip reef sharks cruising along the deeper edges. If you’re newer to diving or just want a relaxed dive with consistent pelagic sightings, Plaza Islets delivers.
