With 259+ marine species recorded in the area - including barracuda, dolphins, lemon sharks, orcas and sea turtles - SUCRE offers some of Morrocoy & Chichiriviche's richest wreck diving. Water ranges 27-30°C, warmest September, October, November.
The Sucre wreck is a tanker, lying at a shallow 13 metres. What’s left of the hull provides a good home for various schooling fish. It's an easy dive, often with good visibility, making it a decent option for newer wreck divers or those looking for a relaxed second dive. We’d suggest keeping an eye out for moray eels tucked into the crevices.
