CINTA BAHARI - Bali

Cinta Bahari, a dive site off Bali, isn't your typical reef dive. It's a wreck, but not one you need tanks for. This motor vessel lies just below the surface, meaning it’s a snorkeller’s dream. We love how the shallow depth lets you really take your time, tracing the outline of the deck, peering into what used to be the bridge. The wreck itself has become a home for all sorts of reef fish. You'll spot damselfish darting in and out of the corroded metal, schools of fusiliers shimmering above the hull, and often a few curious batfish circling the mast. It's a fascinating look at how quickly marine life reclaims man-made structures. Our favourite part is the light play, especially mid-morning, when sunbeams cut through the water, illuminating the wreck and the fish around it. It's an easy win for families or anyone looking for a relaxed surface interval with something genuinely interesting to see. Go at high tide for the best visibility and a bit more clearance over the wreck.
