Gili Tepekong South - Bali

Gili Tepekong South is a solid choice when you're looking for something a bit different around Bali. We usually head south from the main mooring, dropping down to find a sizeable tunnel that cuts into the reef, leading to some impressive walls. It’s got a good collection of the usual suspects, like various cardinalfish darting in and out, and we’ve spotted spotted hawkfish perched on the coral. Keep an eye out for a passing green turtle, and if you’re lucky, maybe even a leatherback. The depths here run from 15 to 30 meters, making it good for those who are comfortable with deeper dives.
