RUHUI RAHAJU I - Bali

The Ruhui Rahaju I is a dive for wreck enthusiasts, a motor vessel that went down in 1977 during a spell of bad weather. Sitting deep, around 58 metres, it’s certainly not a dive for beginners, but those with the appropriate technical certs will find a proper piece of history. The wreck itself is a skeleton, but it’s been well colonised over the decades. You’ll find a good collection of lionfish and scorpionfish tucked into crevices, along with some sizeable moray eels. It’s a deep, dark dive, but a rewarding one if you’re comfortable with the depth and the challenge of a penetrable wreck.
