SAMUDERA INDAH - Bali

The Samudera Indah is a freighter that now rests upright on a sandy bottom, just a short swim from shore. At 27 metres long, it's a decent size, offering plenty of nooks and crannies to poke around in, especially within the cargo holds. We've seen schools of snapper congregating around the superstructure and a few well-camouflaged stonefish clinging to the railings. Since it's only 8 metres deep, this is a great site for newer divers looking to get comfortable with wreck diving or for anyone wanting an easy, longer bottom time. The shallow depth also makes for good natural light penetration, really highlighting the wreck's features.
