With 246+ marine species recorded in the area - including blue-spotted stingrays, bull sharks, grey reef sharks, manta rays and mobula rays (devil rays) - Batu Abah offers some of Lombok & Gili Islands's richest diving. Water ranges 28-30°C, warmest April, May, November.
Batu Abah usually brings solid currents, which means good drift dives are common here. We often find large pelagics riding those same currents, so keep an eye out in the blue. It’s a site for divers comfortable with a bit of movement, making it a good fit for those who enjoy a faster pace.
