Scuba Go - Lombok & Gili Islands

The team at Scuba Go are the kind of people you immediately feel comfortable with. They’ve got a fantastic setup, operating from both Lombok and the Gilis, which we love because it gives you flexibility. If you're staying on Lombok, you don't need to commit to the ferry hassle to dive the Gilis. They excel at PADI courses, right up to instructor level, so if you're looking to learn or progress, this is a solid choice. We've always found their instructors patient and thorough, ensuring you're genuinely comfortable before pushing you on. Their main draw, for us, is their local knowledge of the Gili sites. While the Gilis can get busy, Scuba Go often manages to hit sites like Shark Point or Manta Point when they're less crowded, sometimes just an hour earlier or later makes all the difference. Expect to see reef sharks cruising the deeper sections and plenty of turtles – we once counted seven green sea turtles on a single dive at Turtle Heaven. The currents around the Gilis can be swift, but Scuba Go’s briefings are always detailed, helping you understand the plan. We'd suggest asking them about their morning trips to Gili Trawangan’s north side, those early dives can be magic, with schools of barracuda and trevally often circling in the bluer water.
