Alright, so you’ve spotted Tulamben Scuba in the Gili Islands. Now, their name might throw you a bit since Tulamben is actually over in Bali, home of the Liberty wreck. What we’ve found is that this particular Gili outfit has simply borrowed the famous Bali name. They’re a smaller, local operation, which means a more intimate feel, often with experienced local dive guides who know every nook and cranny of the Gili’s reefs. If you’re after a no-frills, friendly base for exploring the Gili Trawangan, Meno, and Air dive sites, especially for drift dives with turtles, these guys are worth a look. Just don't expect the Liberty wreck to be on their doorstep here!
