With 246+ marine species recorded in the area - including blue-spotted stingrays, bull sharks, grey reef sharks, manta rays and mobula rays (devil rays) - Geger Beach offers some of Lombok & Gili Islands's richest diving. Water ranges 28-30°C, warmest April, May, November.
Geger Beach in Lombok offers a straightforward shore dive. It’s mostly sand and rubble, but you’ll find smaller reef patches scattered across the bottom. Look for the occasional nudibranch or octopus camouflaged in the debris. This site is best suited for check-out dives or when you just want an easy, unchallenging dip.
