Easy Diving Dauin - Dumaguete
The team at Easy Diving Dauin are the kind of people you want to spend a week with. They’re based right there in Sea Dreams Resort, which makes for easy mornings – roll out of bed, grab a coffee, and hop on the boat. We love their focus on local diving. While some centres push the Apo Island day trip every day, Easy Diving shines exploring Dauin’s excellent muck sites and quieter reefs. We always try to get on their early morning dives, before the crowds arrive. The visibility can be surprisingly good even on a muck dive, often 15 metres or more, and the light plays beautifully through the water. Keep an eye out for the mandarin fish at sunset dives; they put on quite a show. Their guides have an uncanny knack for spotting critters – we’ve seen everything from flamboyant cuttlefish parading across the sand to hairy frogfish perfectly camouflaged on sponges. They run PADI courses, so it’s a good spot if you’re looking to get certified or advance your skills with instructors who know the local waters inside out. Honestly, it’s a relaxed, friendly operation, perfect for divers who appreciate genuine hospitality and really good diving without the fuss.
