Seafari Dive Center - Koh Tao
Okay, so you're heading to Koh Tao, eh? If you're looking for a dive shop that gets it right, we really rate Seafari Dive Center. They’ve been around the block, sure, but what we love is how they combine that old-school wisdom with a genuinely fresh approach to diving. They’re PADI, obviously, but it’s their commitment to smaller groups and just making the whole experience *fun* that sets them apart. We always send our mates their way for Open Water. Those first few breaths underwater, the sheer weightlessness, it’s magic. The instructors at Seafari are great at making those initial steps feel natural, not intimidating. We particularly like their boat trips; no sardine cans here. You get space to set up your gear without elbowing someone, and the briefings are always thorough without being dull. If you're looking to push past Advanced or even into tech, they've got the expertise, but it's really the friendly, inclusive vibe for recreational divers that makes them one of our Koh Tao favourites. Expect proper kit, well-maintained, and a team that genuinely wants you to have a good dive, not just tick a box.
