Merlin House Reef - Similan Islands

Merlin House Reef, right in the heart of the Similans, is a perfect spot for getting comfortable in the water. We like it for easy buoyancy checks or for divers just starting out, as the maximum depth is a gentle 11 meters. You’ll drift over a sandy bottom dotted with coral bommies, home to plenty of smaller reef fish. Look closely for anemonefish popping in and out of their homes and small schools of snapper hovering in the calmer patches. It’s a very relaxed dive, often tucked away from the stronger currents that can hit other Similan sites.
