Jupiter - Nha Trang

Jupiter is one of Nha Trang’s most intriguing dive sites, a fishing boat that went down a few decades ago, sitting upright in just 10 metres of water. We love a shallow wreck, especially one so accessible. It's a proper playground, perfect for divers who want to spend some time really picking through a wreck without worrying about deco. You can drop down and explore the wheelhouse, poke your head into the hold, and swim along the deck. The wreck itself has become a home for so many creatures. You’ll find schools of glassfish shimmering in the darker recesses, lionfish often hovering near entrances, and the occasional moray eel peeking out from a pipe. Visibility here can sometimes be a bit hazy, especially after heavy rains, but we find that just adds to the atmosphere, giving the wreck a more mysterious feel. Our favourite time to dive Jupiter is early morning, before the dive boats from Nha Trang arrive in force. It’s a great spot for underwater photography, too, with plenty of interesting angles and details to capture.
