Rainbow Divers - Nha Trang

Forget the name for a minute; this isn’t a kaleidoscope of coral, but it’s still a standout for Nha Trang. Rainbow Divers is actually a macro site, and for us, that’s its real charm. We often find ourselves just off the main mooring, meticulously scanning the small bommies and sandy patches. The cymodocea seagrass beds are always worth a close look; we’ve spotted tiny cymodocea wrasse darting between the blades and often a greybeard dwarfgoby perched just so. The real stars here are the smaller creatures. We always keep an eye out for the orange-axil wrasse, their flashes of colour hard to miss. Pink anemonefish often hover protectively in their homes, and if you’re patient, you might see a bluestripe pipefish doing its thing near the sand. It’s a site that rewards slow diving, a relaxed pace where you can truly appreciate the details. This is our pick for a second dive of the day, when you want to unwind and focus on finding those smaller, often overlooked species. It suits divers who love nudibranchs, gobies, and just generally slowing down to appreciate the smaller stuff.
