Scuba Dive dive center - Nha Trang

Nha Trang diving often gets a bad rap, but we think the house reef right in front of the Scuba Dive dive center is actually one of the most underrated spots. You’re not getting vast coral fields here, but you are getting an incredible density of small, weird, wonderful fish life. We’ve spent hours just finning slowly over the sandy patches and the scattered rocks, spotting so many blennies – the Leopard Blenny and the Filamentous Blenny are regulars – ducking in and out of their holes. Keep an eye out for the Crazy Fish, which truly lives up to its name, darting about, along with schools of Blue Green Chromis shimmering in the shafts of sunlight. The seagrass beds are fantastic for critters, often holding shy Whipfin and Orangefin Ponyfish, and if you’re patient, a Bennett’s Pufferfish might just puff up a bit for you. We love this site for an easy afternoon dive, especially after a morning out on the boats. It’s perfect for macro lovers and photographers who appreciate the chance to really slow down and observe behavior, rather than rushing past big pelagics.
