The Leap, near Sydney, is a shore dive that’s often overlooked, but worth the effort if you’re keen on macro. You’ll find plenty of nudibranchs, often some octopus, and the occasional wobbegong tucked under ledges. It’s a good spot for photographers who don’t mind a bit of a hike, though conditions can vary so check the swell before you head out.
