With 199+ marine species recorded in the area - including blue sharks, bull sharks, dolphins, dugongs and great white sharks - The monuments offers some of Sydney & New South Wales's richest diving. Water ranges 18-23°C, warmest January, February, March.
The Monuments off Sydney offer a series of large rock pinnacles, making for interesting swim-throughs and walls. We've often found wobbegongs tucked into crevices and plenty of schooling fish swirling around the structures. It's a solid dive for those comfortable with varied depths and often a bit of surge, typically suiting intermediate divers.
