Bisé Morto (4) - Klein Bonaire

Disneyland is a name that almost sounds too good to be true, but honestly, it’s one of our favourite spots in the Somosomo Strait. Picture a cluster of pinnacles, so densely covered in coral they look like they’ve been spray-painted with colour. We usually drop in around 5 metres, then drift down to a sandy bottom around 20 metres, which is perfect for stretching out those no-decompression limits. The magic here is in the details, especially on an incoming current. You’ll find scarlet wrasse darting between the staghorn corals and groups of orangespotted gobies huddled near the sand. Our pick for a slow afternoon dive, you can spend ages just exploring the crevices for ornate ghost pipefish or watching banded pipefish sway with the surge. Keep an eye out into the blue, too; we’ve seen eagle rays glide past more than once. The soft corals here are particularly luscious, making the whole place feel incredibly vibrant.
