Bon Bini na Kas (15) - Klein Bonaire

Ebo’s Reef is one of those Klein Bonaire sites we love for a drift. You drop in and immediately feel that gentle push, letting the current do the work. We usually spot a Hawksbill turtle or two munching on sponges right away, sometimes a Caribbean reef squid, too, with its colours flashing. The reef itself is a good example of what makes Klein special – healthy, robust coral formations, particularly some impressive staghorn patches. It’s not the dramatic wall of some sites, more of a sloping reef, but we often find it’s got a consistent density of fish – schools of bluestriped grunt hanging out, plenty of blue parrotfish cruising past. Keep an eye out for those smaller details, like the shy shark nose gobies or the vibrant bicolor basslets tucked into the coral. It’s a site that suits anyone comfortable with a gentle drift, offering a very relaxed dive where you can just soak it all in.
