Harbor Village Bonaire - Klein Bonaire

The Lobster Pot, on Brac’s northwest end, is one of those easy, satisfying dives we love for an afternoon. It’s not deep, topping out around 18 metres, but it’s packed with interesting spots. You drop onto a gentle slope, a miniwall starting at about 10 metres, dotted with vibrant corals before it eases into the sand. We’ve had some cracking encounters here, spotting southern stingrays gliding over the sand flats and spotted drums tucked into the crevices. There’s a real density of life in the coral patches; keep an eye out for blennies popping their heads from the rockwork and plenty of colourful angelfish. It’s an ideal site for macro enthusiasts too, with lots of smaller critters like dwarf planaxis and nut clams if you take your time. Visibility usually hangs around 24 metres, making for a relaxed drift along the wall. Lobster Pot suits anyone looking for a chilled-out dive, especially photographers who appreciate a well-lit, shallow reef.
