Easy Street - Grand Cayman

Jardines sits in that sweet spot where Cozumel's famous current isn't quite raging, but it’s still enough to give you a lovely, flowing drift. We love this site for its sheer abundance of soft corals. Think massive sea fans, gorgonians, and those delicate wisps of coral all swaying in unison. It’s a hypnotic dance. Dive Jardines, and you’ll see the light playing through these formations, creating a dappled effect that’s just gorgeous. We often spot pufferfish tucked into crevices and schools of French grunts milling about. Keep an eye out for the Atlantic lookdowns, their flat, silvery bodies catching the light as they glide past. It’s generally a relaxed drift, making it a great choice for divers who want to soak in the scenery without fighting a big push. The max depth of 12m also means excellent bottom time, letting you really take it all in. We’d suggest going in the morning; the light is usually best then for illuminating those vibrant soft corals.
