Sandals La Source - Southwest Coast
The team at Sandals La Source are PADI pros through and through. If you’re looking to get certified, or level up, this is a solid choice. We’ve always found their instruction top-notch, with an emphasis on safety and really understanding the skills, not just ticking boxes. They’re fantastic for couples where one person dives and the other doesn’t, making it easy to combine a dive trip with a resort holiday. What we really love about diving with them is their access to the sheer number of sites just a short boat ride away. Our favourite, the *Bianca C* wreck, is an absolute classic. Dropping onto that massive hull, seeing the swim-throughs and the sheer scale of it, is always a thrill. You’ll spot green morays peering from crevices and barracuda hanging in the current. If wrecks aren’t your thing, the reefs like Flamingo Bay offer a completely different vibe, with plenty of reef fish darting around brain corals. They run multiple trips a day, so you can often squeeze in a morning dive and still have the afternoon for other plans. Just be aware, it’s a resort operation, so boats can feel a little busier than a dedicated dive shop. Aim for the early morning trips if you prefer fewer divers around.
