Grand Canyon - Grenada - Southwest Coast

Les 3 Pitons on Moorea is a proper dive, a bit of an effort to get to, but we think it’s worth it. You’ll find these three distinct coral heads rising from a sandy bottom, topping out at 6, 12, and 20 metres. We love dropping down into the blue and watching the reef emerge, a real sense of discovering something. The contrast between the deep sapphire water and the vibrant corals is a real eye-catcher. Schools of blue and gold fusiliers are absolutely everywhere, sometimes so thick they feel like a living curtain. We’ve seen whitetip reef sharks circling the base, and there’s always a good chance of spotting turtles cruising past. Keep an eye out for titan triggerfish patrolling their territory and those cheeky clownfish peeking from their anemones. It’s a site that suits divers who appreciate structure and the classic big-fish encounters, a good solid choice for a morning boat dive.
