HMS ENDYMION - Providenciales

The HMS Endymion isn't your typical Caribbean wreck site, and that's exactly why we love it. Forget massive, intact steel hulks; this is a true historical piece, a 44-gun frigate from 1790. What you get now, scattered across a mere 9 meters of water, is an archaeological treasure. We’re talking cannon, anchors, and ballast stones, all encrusted with sponges and hard corals, spread out over a sandy patch. It’s a fantastic site for newer divers or those who prefer to take their time exploring the details. Visibility here is often superb, letting you really pick out the shapes of history. Our favourite part? The way the light plays on the sand, highlighting the outlines of what were once decks and bulkheads, now just hints of a ship. Look closely for parrotfish grazing right on the old timbers and moray eels peeking from beneath coral-draped cannons. It’s a gentle drift, a perfect second dive, and a genuine connection to the past.
