Dive Yasawa Lagoon - Kadavu & Great Astrolabe Reef

The team at Dive Yasawa Lagoon, based out of Coralview Island Resort, are exactly the kind of crew we love diving with. They’re super laid-back, but totally on the ball when it comes to safety and finding the good stuff. We’d recommend them to anyone who wants that classic Fiji experience without a lot of fuss. These guys really specialise in making the Great Astrolabe Reef accessible, even if you’re a newer diver. We’ve found their local knowledge invaluable for picking the best spots, whether that’s a drift through a pass or a gentle coral garden where you can just hang out with the reef sharks and turtles. Our favourite dives with them usually involve exploring some of the quieter sections of the reef, where the hard corals are just sprawling out. You’ll often find us hovering over a bommie, watching anemonefish dart between tentacles, or looking for the distinctive blue flash of a regal angelfish. If you want a genuine, no-frills dive experience with a friendly face, Dive Yasawa Lagoon is a solid choice.
