Nudibranch Valley - Kadavu & Great Astrolabe Reef

Nudibranch Valley, just off Kadavu, is precisely what it sounds like, a real treat for anyone who enjoys slowing down and getting close to the reef. At a comfortable 20 metres, the valley floor is a mosaic of soft corals and rubble, perfect habitat for spotting these colourful sea slugs. We’ve found everything from vibrant *Hypselodoris bullocki* to the more cryptic *Phyllidia ocellata* here, often tucked into crevices or crawling over a sponge. It’s a gentle dive, making it ideal for beginners or those who prefer to spend their bottom time focused on macro photography rather than fighting a current. Bring your keenest eyes and a good magnifying glass.
