STELLA CROCE - Northeast Coast

The Stella Croce, a bulk carrier that went down in 1984 after a collision, rests upright at a serious depth off Taiwan’s Northeast Coast. We're talking 60 metres, so this is one for the tech crowd, or at least very experienced deep divers with the right training. The wreck itself is remarkably intact, 81.5 metres long, and offers plenty to explore if you’re prepared for the dark and the chill. Schools of bigeye trevally often hang around the superstructure, and we’ve seen some decent nudibranchs clinging to the railings. It’s a proper wreck dive, challenging but rewarding for those who know their limits.
