Why dive here
With 98+ marine species recorded in the area - including blue sharks, sea turtles, spinner dolphins and whale sharks - Moofushi offers some of Rasdhoo Atoll's richest reef diving. Water ranges 29-31°C, warmest April, May, July.
Moofushi, in Rasdhoo Atoll, is a straightforward dive. We've often found ourselves drifting over sandy patches with seagrass beds, specifically *Cymodocea*, which isn't always common in the Maldives. It’s a calmer spot, good for a relaxed dive, especially if you're keen to observe the smaller critters that thrive in the seagrass. Ideal for divers looking for something a bit different from the usual reef topography.
