    StandoutExceptional marine biodiversity

Nine Mile Reef in Sodwana Bay is one of the deeper coral reef dives here, often reaching depths where a little extra bottom time comes in handy. It’s known for bigger pelagics, like the occasional hammerhead or bull shark cruising by in the blue, alongside resident potato bass and various reef sharks. The coral formations are impressive, some of the most mature we’ve seen in Sodwana. It’s a good spot for advanced divers comfortable with deeper profiles and potential currents.
