The Cement Wall is one of those sites that just feels right from the moment you roll in. It’s not about grand vistas, though the wall itself is impressive, dropping into the blue. Instead, it's the sheer density of life, particularly the smaller stuff, that makes it a standout for us. We love drifting along, eyes peeled, finding a Western imperial cone inching its way across the rock, or spotting a well-camouflaged granular frog shell. This isn't a site for blasting through; it's for slowing down. Keep an eye out for blue-spotted stingrays resting on the sandy ledges and the resident green turtles gracefully finning by. The Spangled Emperor and Spottail Coris add splashes of colour, but it’s the cowries and various cones that really demand attention here. We'd suggest an afternoon dive when the light softens; it brings out a different hue in the corals and highlights the textures of the wall. Best for those who enjoy a deliberate pace, perfect for photographers or anyone who appreciates the intricate details of a healthy reef.
