On Zanzibar’s southeast coast, Rising Sun Dive Center is a PADI Resort we’ve often heard good things about. They operate out of Breezes Beach Club & Spa, which makes them handy if you’re staying there, but their daily boat trips welcome divers from further afield too. They run a tight ship, as you’d expect from a long-standing PADI operation, with a focus on safety and solid dive briefings. If you’re looking for reliable diving in the Michamvi area, with sites like the aptly named Pinnacles and Kichafi, we think they’re a decent bet.
