Memba 2

Memba 2, just off Pemba, offers a solid dive without the usual crowds you find closer to Zanzibar. We typically drop onto a sloping reef, somewhere around 12-18 metres, where the big draw for us are the schools of manini and the occasional long-beaked dolphin cruising past in the blue. Keep an eye out for honeycomb groupers tucked into the coral and the more unusual cowfish, a personal favourite. It’s a site that suits divers looking for a relaxed drift and some good macro opportunities if you go slow.
