    StandoutExceptional marine biodiversity

The ST ITA, a trawler resting at 15 metres on Ireland's South Coast, offers a solid wreck dive without demanding advanced skills. It’s a good spot for those looking to get comfortable on metal, or just enjoy a more relaxed dive. You’ll find the trawler largely intact, creating plenty of nooks and crannies for exploring. Look for conger eels tucked into the darker sections and crabs scuttling across the deck plates. We often find the wreck draped in various anemones, giving it a surprising burst of colour against the grey. Visibility can be a bit variable here, so we always check the local conditions before heading out.
