Albatros Diving - Balearic Islands
The team at Albatros Diving are the real deal, particularly if you care about the ocean beyond just finning through it. These guys aren't just ticking the PADI boxes, they genuinely integrate conservation into everything they do. We love that they’ve been around since '93, but haven't gotten complacent. They’re constantly pushing for more responsible diving, which makes us feel good about where our money goes. While they've got all the standard PADI courses covered, our favourite aspect is their dedication to Conservation Diver programs. If you've ever wanted to learn about seagrass restoration or how to identify local nudibranchs, this is your spot. We’d suggest booking one of their specific conservation dives; it’s a different experience than a typical reef tour. You'll often find yourself really looking, rather than just observing, maybe even participating in a small way. Conditions here are generally calm, especially in the mornings, so it’s a great place to build confidence or get serious about marine ecology. They can get busy in peak summer, so aim for shoulder seasons if you prefer a quieter boat.
